NOTE: Photographers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
What We'll Cover On The Day
- Basic camera handling
- Understanding the controls on your camera
- The exposure triangle - aperture (depth of field), shutter speed and ISO
- The 'rules' of composition - rule of thirds, golden ratio, leading lines
- Framing your image and creating depth
- Storytelling and narrative in your images
What to Bring
- No prior photography knowledge
- Lots of energy
- Comfortable shoes!
- a DSLR, or Mirrorless digital camera capable of manual and semi-manual modes (Aperture priority/shutter priority)
- Memory cards
- Fully charged battery
- a standard angle lens (around 50mm) or a standard zoom lens
- a pen and notebook
