1. Seeing Light: Grey Scales, Tonal Range, and Contrast: Learn to perceive and manipulate light in a way that enhances your black and white photographs. Understand the nuances of grey scales and tonal ranges, and discover how to see and use light and contrast to create striking images.
2. Finding Black and White Inspiration: Explore sources of inspiration for black and white photography. From classic photographers to contemporary artists, learn how to find and draw from a wealth of creative influences to inspire your own work.
3. Composing for Black and White: Master the art of composition specifically for black and white photography. Discover techniques to emphasize shapes, lines, and textures, and learn how to create balanced and impactful compositions without the distraction of color.
4. Reading Your Histogram: Gain a deep understanding of how to read and use your camera's histogram to ensure optimal exposure in your black and white shots. Learn how to adjust your settings based on histogram readings to achieve the desired tonal range.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

• If you need to cancel 5 days notice is required for a refund.
• Should you need to cancel with less than 5 days notice we are happy to transfer your registration to a future event, however no refund will be available for that event.
• If we need to cancel or postpone an event we will give you as much notice as possible.
• If we cancel an event all fees will be refunded in full
• If we postpone an event (for example due to weather or illness) and you can't make the revised date/time and need to cancel the 5 day notice provisions above apply
