About the event

Join us for an early morning hit of sights, sounds, people and culture.

Otara Market is New Zealand's most popular and thriving market with diverse people, tons of action and of course Maori, Samoan, Tongan, Niuean culture.

This meetup promises to deliver a great experience, with bright and diverse images of a side of Auckland not often covered in the photography  community.  

What to Bring

  • A camera capable of manual and semi-manual modes (Aperture priority/shutter priority) - even smart phones will do fine
  • a wide angle lens (or wide angle zoom) for capturing the sights, people and energy around you. 

Cancellation/Refund Policy

  • If you need to cancel 5 days notice is required for a refund.
  • Should you need to cancel with less than 5 days notice we are happy to transfer your registration to a future event, however no refund will be available for that event.
  • If we need to cancel or postpone an event we will give you as much notice as possible.
  • If we cancel an event all fees will be refunded in full
  • If we postpone an event (for example due to weather or illness) and you can't make the revised date/time and need to cancel the 5 day notice provisions above apply

    Join us at Silo Park in Wynyard Quarter for an evening wander around the district capturing the sights, scenes and people as they go about their evenings. Blend the evening light, local architecture and harbour scenes to create images that capture the beauty of midsummer.
