About the event

As we transition into spring new life is blooming.

In this workshop we'll combine nature and wildlife photography to capture the birth of a new season.  

What We'll Cover

  • The basics of nature and wildlife compositons 
  • Framing compositions to tell stories of nature
  • Planning for and capturing 'the moment'
  • Using the environment to enhance your images

What to Bring

  • A camera capable of manual and semi-manual modes (Aperture priority/shutter priority) - even smart phones will do at a pinch
  • a medium wide angle lens (recommended 28 to 50mm (full frame equivalent) or a standard zoom if you want to focus on nature photography
  • a 'longer telephoto lens' lens if you want to focus on wildlife photography (optional)

Cancellation/Refund Policy

  • If you need to cancel 5 days notice is required for a refund.
  • Should you need to cancel with less than 5 days notice we are happy to transfer your registration to a future event, however no refund will be available for that event.
  • If we need to cancel or postpone an event we will give you as much notice as possible.
  • If we cancel an event all fees will be refunded in full
  • If we postpone an event (for example due to weather or illness) and you can't make the revised date/time and need to cancel the 5 day notice provisions above apply
