Urban Night Portraiture Workshop

Learn how to make the most of urban lightscapes and introduced light to create new and exciting portraits that tell peoples stories in new ways.

What We'll Cover

• Managing the exposure triangle to capture vibrant images
• Balancing ambient lighting and white balance
• Fill lighting
• Using complementary lighting

What to Bring

• A camera capable of manual and semi-manual modes (Aperture priority/shutter priority) - even smart phones will do fine
• a standard telephoto or standard portrait lens
• a 'fast aperture' lens if you have one (optional)
• a tripod (optional)
• a small RGB LED light if you have one (recommended)

Cancellation/Refund Policy

• If you need to cancel 5 days notice is required for a refund.
• Should you need to cancel with less than 5 days notice we are happy to transfer your registration to a future event, however no refund will be available for that event.
• If we need to cancel or postpone an event we will give you as much notice as possible.
• If we cancel an event all fees will be refunded in full
• If we postpone an event (for example due to weather or illness) and you can't make the revised date/time and need to cancel the 5 day notice provisions above apply
